I try to find slices of wood that have strange or interesting features in them when I’m making bowls. This piece of ash has a bark inclusion in the center because it came from a fork in the tree, and I also left a little chunk of bark on one side. I sealed the inclusion with epoxy and brought the finish right over it. This is a unique and large ash salad bowl.
